Another piece of garbage product bought from the home depot. After 10 hours this machine not start. Why!?? This is the 2nd mower I've bought from home depot in less than 6 months. Somebody needs to come start this machine now or come pick it up because I will NOT pay anymore on it!

Gas gauge on S120 showing hieroglyphics then morphs into 6.0. This seems to be a well-documented issue, yet I have seen no published solution.
Runs ok so far at 15 hrs but gas gauge only reads the number 6. So the gas gauge is out to lunch at 15 hrs. I thought I shouldn't be having trouble at just 15 hrs.with a new mower. I see many people on line have the same problem with no solution.
Have a large area to cut, love this tractor. Comfortable, easy, does a great job, solid and sturdy over rough terrain. Nothing runs like a Deere!
Nice upgrade over my 2003 L110 which had 605 hrs on it. I like all the features although a bit disappointed that it needed to be serviced with about 12 hrs on it, as the belt on the cutting drive snapped! Didn't hit anything, driving on flat ground, and bang, snapped.
With a wider deck, faster forward speed and more power I can finish my lawn in half the time it took previously.
I purchased this mower as a backup mower for a large lawn. It does the job well. The only feature that I didn't like is that you can't judge how much gas you are putting in the tank. The black cage in front of the gas tank blocks the view.
This replaced a tired out mid-eighties 165 hydro and am glad I did it. Use on a 1.5 ac lawn and it's never looked so good. turns great and very comfortable. All controls are very accessible, including the reverse by-pass button.
This is a solid mower at an affordable price. I never really looked at John Deere before because I anticipated a high price; however, when my 15 year old Craftsman gave out I was pleasantly surprised that the John Deere was about the same price that I paid for the Craftsman! The S120 is a solid machine. I am also impressed with the Easy Change oil system.
