Active customer relationships

01 · Who we are

"Our mission is to develop customers for life — by providing the best choice of products and the highest level of service to the farming, commercial, residential, and construction communities we call home."

That sentence has guided every decision at Wright Implement since 1936. Customers for life isn't a tagline, it's a standard we hold ourselves to every single day, from the parts we stock to the technicians we train to the communities we sponsor.

02 · Our story

Started on a farm. Still running like one.

Russell Wright opened the first shop in Harned, Kentucky in 1936 — during the Great Depression, with a handshake ethic and a belief that good equipment and honest service would keep farmers running.

1936

The first shop opens in Harned, KY

Russell Wright becomes an authorized John Deere dealer. He answers his own phone, knows every customer by name, and believes that a dealer's job doesn't end at the sale.

1953

Second location added in Hardinsburg

Demand from Breckinridge County farmers leads to expansion. The Hardinsburg store becomes a hub for row-crop and livestock equipment across three counties.

1972

Second generation takes the wheel

The Wright family passes leadership to the next generation. Same values, same faces behind the service counter, same commitment to getting you back in the field.

1989

First Indiana location opens in Corydon

Expansion across the Ohio River brings Wright Implement to Indiana farm country. Five more locations follow over the next decade.

2008

Third generation joins the business

Family ownership remains unbroken. The third generation brings precision ag capabilities and digital tools without losing the personal touch that built the company.

Today

15 locations. One family.

Serving KY and IN with new equipment, used equipment, parts, service, and financing — with the same handshake ethic Russell Wright started with.

03 · What we stand for

Not just a dealer. A neighbor.

Four principles have guided Wright Implement since Russell Wright opened the doors in 1936. Demonstrated every day by every person we employ.

01

Family-held, not corporate

We've never sold to a conglomerate or private equity group. The Wright family still makes decisions — no quarterly earnings calls driving policy, just what's right for our customers and our communities.

02

We answer our own phones

No call centers. When you call a Wright location, someone who knows your equipment — and probably knows your name — picks up. Every location, every day.

03

Rooted in the community

Our store managers sit on local school boards. We sponsor 4-H and FFA chapters in every county we operate in. When something matters in Hardinsburg or Vincennes, we're already there.

04

Built to keep you running

Our parts hotline runs 24/7 because downtime in peak season isn't acceptable. We stock OEM parts, staff certified technicians, and offer field service when you can't bring the machine to us.

Wright sponsors our entire FFA chapter — they've been showing up since my dad was a member. The same family, three generations later.
